Jesse Kyle Sanchez was born to Jesus A.L. Sanchez, from Michoacan, Mexico, who worked as a track laborer for the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad, and Judy K Sanchez (now deceased) from West Virginia who worked as a nurse and worked night shifts in Chicago, IL.
Jesse grew up the second eldest of four children in Hammond, Indiana – a city in the heavily industrialized northwest of Indiana.
Jesse left home when he was 16 years old to live at a public boarding school on Ball State University campus – the Indiana Academy for Mathematics Science and Humanities.
After the Academy, Jesse studied at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Jesse graduated with a dual major degree – one in philosophy and one in political science.
Jesse and Angela, his high school sweetheart he met while attending the Indiana Academy for Mathematics Science and Humanities, married while completing their undergraduate programs. After college, they moved to Indianapolis where they attended law school together. To finance his education and the remodeling of a home he and his wife purchased on the North West side of Indianapolis, Jesse worked as a construction laborer and later as a bailiff in Marion Superior Court during his law school career. Jesse’s hard work for income while attending law school did not hold him back from academic excellence – he graduated cum laude upon completing his law school career.
After law school, Jesse worked for a short time in a civil law firm where he specialized in securities fraud and eminent domain transactions. After some time with the civil law firm Jesse went to work for the Marion County Public Defender Agency. There, Jesse gained a tremendous degree in his legal and litigation skills, knowledge, and a love for litigation and criminal defense. He found then and still takes great pride now in the work he did for his past and current clients in every case he represents.
Jesse Sanchez started The Law Office of Jesse K. Sanchez in January 2016 where his primary goals always remain to defend the defenseless and to work with like-minded people.
